This is a commonly overlooked aspect of the planning process for a development, which can be costly when new architect designs need to be drawn up.

The plan below is a good example of designing a scheme without considering the trees. The trees on either side are outside the site so there is no control over them and so they had to re-design the dwelling to avoid the trees.
